Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a private academy in the heart of London, an area not known by your average person. You see, Hogwarts, as it it is called by its students, is a haven for young men and women who have something that most people only believe resides in the fairytales. An ability that most wish they could have if it were real. The ability to perform magic; not the pull out a rabbit from hat magic, but REAL magic, with spells and potions. These people, who show this ability, are invited to attend the school at the ripe old age of 11, by letter via the magical communities owl post. It's both an honor and privilege to attend, however, it is also very difficult. The work is tough, the professors are even tougher and the students are going through the toughest times of their lives. Puberty and teenage years. Most kids aren't thinking about potions and flying lessons, most are thinking about what to do once the last professor dismisses them from classes.

And they certainly aren't thinking about the mysterious events that have been lurking in the shadows of London. Accidents, disappearances, killings of innocent people. Plenty of whispers, and even suggested names for the mastermind behind the scheme, but no on has any proof.

This leaves the door open for questions upon questions, and not many answers. Well none that the Ministry is going to divulge at any rate. If these events are a sign of things to come, will the Ministry be able to figure out who is behind all these mysterious events in order to capture them? Or will they fail and put the entire magical community in jeopardy? What does this mean for the students who are attending the Academy? Will they find enough peace to enjoy what would normally be deemed the best years of their lives or will they be the first to suffer?
